Nora Arafa

Occupational Therapist

Nora moved to Singapore in 2020, after completing a Bachelor’s degree in occupational therapy at Trinity College Dublin.

She began her occupational therapy career working in an acute hospital setting working in areas such as stroke, general medicine, and oncology. She also has experience working in the area of community mental health, where she was part of a diverse multi-disciplinary team. Her role in this setting included working on life skills with adolescents and young adults, to facilitate them to live independently in the community. However, Nora decided to switch to the paediatric setting as working with children has been a passion of hers. She has previous experience working with children with a variety of conditions (including cerebral palsy, global developmental delay, and autism spectrum disorder) in a summer camp environment. Her role within this setting was to enable the children to engage in activities they found meaningful.

Nora enjoys working with children of all ages and is committed to providing a holistic, family-focused therapy service for her clients. She has an interest in working in the area of neurology and neurodevelopment and is keen to continue to work in this area while in the paediatric setting.
