Senior Occupational Therapist
Breanna graduated with a Diploma in Occupational Therapy from Nanyang Polytechnic in 2016 and completed her Bachelors of Science (Occupational Therapy) from Trinity College Dublin in 2019.
Breanna started as an early intervention teacher at Rainbow Centre and found her passion in working with children who were differently-abled. During her stint at Rainbow Centre, Breanna found that occupational therapy was very fulfilling and she pursued a mid-career switch. After receiving her qualification as an occupational therapist, Breanna worked in a government hospital for five years. She covered a wide range of adult and paediatric inpatient caseloads, including geriatrics, orthopaedics and general surgery. She also worked extensively with preschool and school-going children to work on attention, emotional regulation as well as other motor and learning challenges in the outpatient setting.
Breanna’s clinical interest lies in working with premature babies and babies with congenital issues. Being a mother of a preemie herself, Breanna knows the challenges and worries parents have in bringing up a premature child, and strives to use a family-centric approach to work alongside families.
